This Privacy Policy is written for a memory-preservation website that may collect account information, payment-related information, photos, videos, voice recordings, written memories, contributor information, and private family content. Our Story Continues (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the personal nature of memories. This Privacy Policy explains how Our Story Continues collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use our website, accounts, Memory Collections, subscriptions, collaboration tools, guided prompts, and related services (the “Service”).

  • Memory Collection content: photos, videos, voice recordings, written reflections, prompt answers, names, dates, family details, milestones, keepsake information, contributor messages, and other content you or invited contributors submit.
  • Contributor information: names, email addresses, invitation details, access permissions, passcode-related information, and contribution activity.
  • Payment and subscription information: plan selected, billing status, transaction history, and limited payment details provided by our payment processor. We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, features used, dates and times of activity, referral pages, and diagnostic information.
  • Communications: messages you send to us, support requests, feedback, survey responses, and emails or notices related to your account.

4. Private Collections and Shared Access

Memory Collections are intended to be private or shared only with people the account owner or authorized users invite. People you invite may see, add, download, or interact with content depending on the permissions available. Please only invite people you trust and only upload information you have permission to share.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your private Memory Collection content. We may share information in the following limited ways:

  • With invited users: content and contributor details may be shared with people who have access to the same Memory Collection.
  • With service providers: vendors that help us provide hosting, authentication, storage, payments, email, analytics, customer support, printing, shipping, security, and other business operations.
  • With payment processors: payment information is processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe, according to their own terms and privacy practices.
  • For legal and safety reasons: if required by law, court order, subpoena, government request, or to protect rights, safety, users, security, or property.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

6. Third-Party Tools We May Use

We may use Firebase or other Google services for authentication, hosting, storage, security, analytics, or app infrastructure. We may use Stripe or another payment processor for subscriptions and payments. We may also use email, printing, shipping, support, or analytics providers. These providers process information according to their contracts and privacy practices.

7. Payments

When you pay for a subscription or product, payment information is handled by our payment processor. We receive information such as payment status, subscription status, billing name, limited card details such as brand and last four digits, transaction history, and plan details. We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers or card security codes on our own servers.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep the Service working, remember preferences, improve performance, understand feature usage, and protect against abuse. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some parts of the Service may not work properly without them.

Please use care before sharing sensitive information and obtain permission where appropriate.
